We had a great Easter weekend. It was the first weekend of the month that Andy didn't have to work, so that was nice. He and the girls were supposed to go camping on Friday night with The Townsend kids, but the rain held that off. Not to worry; they scheduled a rain date later next month.
Saturday cleared up and the girls and I were able to go to a friend's house for a big Easter egg hunt.
Here they are with some of their buddies "Mrs Cottontail" was there with her bunnies to pet and push in strollers. Here is Carly with a bunny stroller and modelling her new hair cut. She had a lot of length taken off and some long layers put in. Very pretty.
Here is Joiner with her bunny and her new haircut. Joiner went much shorter and now has a little stacked bob. She has wanted to do this for a while and I held off until I was sure she was sure. It is really cute and I think it will be really nice for them to have this difference as they move to Kindergarten.

Sitting with their crew.
Petting some bunnies.
Joiner. She was smiling, but you wouldn't know it.
I caught her with her Easter basket on her head!
Soon the egg hunt started. Joiner is fast and she was off. Carly was running too, but she didn't seem as competitive about it. Here she is trying to get some eggs.
Meanwhile, Joiner was flying.
Still running
Carly just kind of hanging out.
Joiner's gumption paid off and she had a basket full of eggs. She was pumped!
Carly was happy with her far fewer egg count.

Our Easter service starts at 9am with a wonderful potluck Brunch. This is probably my favorite church meal fo the year. So we got up and I tried to get everyone dressed and ready so we could be there in time for everything. The girls wore their Easter dresses and Bennett wore this beautiful suit that Andy wore when he was little. Mary brought it with her last time and it fits him perfectly. It is so sweet to think of his Daddy in it too!
There we go!
Best shot of B's outfit for Mamie:)
The girls at the brunch.
Poor Bennett with Mrs Amy at church. He is usually asleep at this point, but we all had to be there. So I became a little cooler and just went with the flow. She wanted to hold him and I warned her that he would probably go to sleep and he did shortly after this picture. He is so sweet with being passed around church. He is the only baby and they all feel like grandparents with him so they always follow me around to hold him and he lets them for now.
Our church Easter egg hunt is after the brunch. I, of course, am in charge of all of this, so I leave the brunch a little early to get the Youth to hide the eggs that we collect for weeks. Here is everyone lined up to race.
And they are off, again!
I think Joiner's hair gives a hint to how fast she is going!

Carly was more into this morning with all the brunch food sustaining her!
